9/10/08 ... We just started our Fall Fern Sale, with at least 1/3 off every fern we offer. That includes not only Dryopteris 'Brilliance' (Autumn Fern) and Athyrium 'Pictum' (Japanese Painted Fern), our 2 most popular ferns, but also harder to find varieties like Osmunda cinnamomea (Cinnamon Fern) and Athyrium cyclosorum (Western Lady Fern)

8/17/08 ... We have some new items ready, including -  Echinacea 'Tiki Torch' is very new from Terra Nova with large, bright, pumpkin orange flowers. Echinacea 'Purity' is a new white from Terra Nova. "... plants produce pristine white flowers of superb quality with bright orange cones!" Hydrangea paniculata ‘Pink Diamond’ is a very cold hardy variety, the flower buds are tinged pink, the open blooms start out white but soon turn blush pink and age to a deep pink. Bignonia 'Tangerine Beauty' isn't really new to these pages, but it returns after an extended absence. Masses of salmon colored, trumpet shaped blooms in late spring and summer.

Late Summer Sale on Japanese Anemones - a classic late summer-fall flower. We currently have all our varieties of Japanese Anemones on a 1/2 price sale.

Of special note - we have nearly all of our Astrantias (Masterworts) on sale. This is a great time to pick up these complex and long lasting flowers for bloom next season.
